We are fast approaching one of the most meaningful opportunities for the entire Pro-life Community to gather and proclaim publicly the sanctity of every human being from the moment of conception to natural death. Several facets of our gathering (Brother Bryan Park 22nd St. South and 10th Ave. Birmingham, AL) and our prayerful march (about a mile past one area abortion clinics) are shared in the hope that you and those you may invite can participate as fully as possible.
People from all walks of life who believe that life is precious will come from all over the area; church members, ministries, youth groups, pastors, doctors, nurses, clerks, postmen. We will sing and praise the Lord together and listen to inspired speakers.
There are people in this city that are out at the clinics each day trying to give women an opportunity to turn around and save their babies. There is Sav A Life Clinic and Her Choice Women’s Center open each day to meet the physical and emotional needs of women who are pregnant and need help. Because we would all like to have the opportunity to do more, this one day can make a difference. We can walk a mile in silent prayer around the Five Points area of Birmingham, where one of the abortion businesses is located. We can do this with God’s help-so that some day we will overcome the scourge of abortion in our land.
•You can help also by reproducing the posters included (see attachments, see end of article) and getting them to various people, churches and locations that we don’t know about. You never know who will see them and maybe come and change their mind about abortion.
•You can make a difference by participating in the March; bring your children, young people and youth groups. This March gives each participant an opportunity to walk out their commitment to LIFE by Marching for the life of the unborn. Your family will always remember your example of standing for righteousness.
•Pease be fervent in prayer for the March and for the end of abortion. The battle is raging on for life each day. Working together, “ . . .we are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us.”
