A thumbs up for Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann publicly asking Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius to refrain from going to Communion because of her support for abortion-on-demand, her work with planned parenthood and support from well-known late term abortionist George Tiller of Wichita.
Despite the rancor of a small group of pro abortion Catholic Democrats and the criticism of his decision publicized in Kansas City Community News, Los Angeles Times, and Kansas City Star, Archbishop Naumann has held firm on the position of the Catholic Church on prolife.
The visit in April to America by Pope Benedict seems to have had a profound effect on the courage shown by clergy around the country to speak and stand for the sanctity of human life which supercedes laws decided upon by man.
