        “Can you hear me now? – good!” 

“Can you hear me now? – good!”  Almost all of us have heard or seen this familiar commercial from Verizon.  A smiling man with glasses wanders around the city streets with a cell phone up to his ear.  Every so often he pauses and asks the question, “Can you hear me now?”  He waits for the answer, receives a reply, and exclaims, “Good!”  Connection has been made.  Communication has taken place.  A message has been sent and received.

For --- years we have seen this played out over and over again here at Network.  As we were faithful to put the Word of God in print and distribute it to the community we got many letters and communications that confirmed that the message had been sent and received.  Standing on the promise that “When God’s word goes forth it doesn’t return empty but accomplishes the purpose for which it was sent.”  (Isaiah 55-11)  We know that the purpose for spreading the written Word of God is to bring life.  We have been privileged to see the promise fulfilled over and over again.

Because of a lack of funds we had to stop printing and distributing Network Newspaper over --- months ago.  I can’t express to you the anguish I have felt knowing that this vital and effective ministry to our community has not been functioning to its’ fullest potential and calling (though we have not been printing and distributing in newspaper form we have continued our on-line ministry).  Because the power of the written Word in Network Newspaper has been demonstrated to us so often over the years it is hard for me to ignore the fact that because it is not in the community presently we are missing some of those who need it now to come to relationship with Christ.  This is our calling and it has been placed on my heart to appeal to you for your help so that we can continue our ministry of reaching the lost and encouraging those who are already members of the Body of Christ.

For 21 years Network publication has spread the Scriptures into the highways and byways of Alabama. We have affirmed Family Values and stood against issues like abortion, embryonic stem cell research, and other anti family policies. Therefore we ask you to financially support Network. Help us to continue to be a conservative voice through the print media and our internet website. 

Our budget needs are  approximately $60,000 dollars for 2009. Your support of this ministry is vital, please consider a monthly pledge or one time gift to Network. Our faithful volunteers and staff will be faithful to continue the vision of spreading the Good News.
